Bell and CBC deliver Olympics to mobile phones

If you have service with Bell and love watching the Olympics. This is great news for you. Bell announced an agreement with CBC/Radio-Canada to deliver CBC/Radio-Canada coverage of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Summer Games to Bell your mobile phone, digital satellite television and Internet.

This service will be available to Bell customers across Canada in forms ranging from video streaming on mobile phones to full High Definition television feeds of specific sports during the 2008 Summer Games.

Scott Moore and Executive Director at CBC Sports said “This agreement represents an opportunity for Canadians to receive exclusive CBC/Radio-Canada Olympic Games coverage at home, at work or on the go.” In addition, Loring Phinney, Bell Vice President for Corporate & Olympic Marketing said “Bell knows that Canadians love the Olympic Games and we are eager to ensure our customers have the best access possible to Beijing this summer.”

I think this is really great. A lot of stations won't be offering the Olympic's on a daily basis. By offering the use of seeing the olympics anywhere you are, even on your cell phone, is something that Canadians will greatly appreciate. Won't it be awesome to see Canada win gold any time and any place?
