Bell Mobiltiy goes live with White HTC Touch

Bell Mobility picks up white HTC Touch
The HTC Touch can be considered an enigmatic device in Canada. See, data rates used to be unfathomable. There were all sorts of stories going around about outlandish bills from Rogers Wireless for what most Americans would consider a temperate use of mobile data. But Bell changed the paradigm up north when they introduced the HTC Touch with a $7 monthly data plan. Now they’re prettying up the device, offering it in a bright, bright white.
Isn’t it purty? I dig the sleek model, though I’m a bit disappointed that it won’t have any GPS hardware. South of the Canadian border, Verizon will be carrying a GPS function on the Touch, which should be available sometime in February.
It’s basically the same device as the regular, gray Touch, offering the Windows Mobile platfrom, Bluetooth, 2 megapixel camera…
It’ll cost you just $99.95, but that’s with a three-year agreement. if you’re not so good with commitment, you can get it for two years, one year, or contract-free, though the price will increase with each level. The no contract Touch is $399.99.

Blackberry Pearl Offered in Red by Bell Mobility

Friday January 25, 2008 12:51 PM CST - By: Michael Kwan
I'm pretty sure that this isn't a (PRODUCT) RED device, but that hasn't stopped Bell Mobility from dressing up the BlackBerry Pearl in a new red casing. Just in time for Valentine's Day -- it's probably cheaper than a dozen roses on February 14th -- the red BlackBerry Pearl boasts the same feature set as its not so red counterparts. What this means is that you still get to navigate through the propriety BlackBerry menu system using that cool illuminated trackball thing. You still get to fire off emails and text messages using the integrated SureType keyboard. And you still get to snap spur of the moment photos with the 2.0 megapixel camera. Oh, and and it's got integrated GPS too.No word on price, but I'd imagine that Bell won't be adding a red premium to this particular handset. I could be wrong through.
